Who am I?

I am Eleanor, an award-winning actor, improvister, and voice artist. Originally from Adelaide, I moved to Sydney to study acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Since graduating in 2013, I have been working as a professional actor across stage and screen, touring extensively throughout Australia and New Zealand.

In 2020, I decided to deepen my learning and expertise in voice and teaching by studying a Master of Fine Arts (Voice). Since then, I have worked as a vocal coach at a tertiary level at NIDA as well as a professional voice over artist, narrating audiobooks for Bolinda Studios.

Alongside my training and experience as an actor, I have been working as a private coach. This work allows me to use my passion and skills to make a lasting impact for my clients, both personally and professionally. I help them gain confidence as presenters, improve their public-speaking skills, develop their professional brand, and evolve their intra-personal skills.

I first stepped on stage as a mouse in a dance concert at the age of 3 and have been hooked from that point on!

Since that first foray, I have been working professionally on stage and screen as an actor and improviser for over 10 years. I’ve built a reputation as a bold and dynamic performer and theatre-maker. Genres include: cabaret, art installation performances, interactive theatre, puppetry, immersive theatre, classic theatre plays, new-work and developments, magic shows, and children’s theatre.

Performing and connecting with audiences remains one of the most joyful elements of my life.

Improv Work

The Newlyweds is my improv duo with my real-life husband Marcel Blanch-de Wilt.

The Newlyweds have toured around the world performing their outstanding 2prov shows with their familiar brand of holy matrimony. The Newlyweds have performed in Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Wellington and Chicago. Ele is an acclaimed actor, Marcel is an award-winning stand-up. Together they are UNSTOPPABLE.
